In the Mix is where House Music comes to life. Each track is like music notes to a musician and the skilled DJ brings those notes together to create a piece of music that transcends the individual tracks. The art is in bringing together the different elements to create a composition that takes the listener or dancer on a journey.

To maintain the integrity of the DJ Mix, we encode them as one continuous mp3. This eliminates annoying skips or pauses that disrupt the flow of the DJ's stylings during playback. Each mix is accompanied by Mix Art that has track times and artist / title information allowing for easy identification of specific tracks in the mix.

To Download Mix Art go to your 'account' section, when logged in to your Stompy.com account, and look for the button titled - 'Artwork'. Here you can download Mix Art in .jpeg format for music you have purchased.

- click this or a Mix Image to open the Mix Profile view.

- when in the Mix Profile view click the speaker to listen to the tracks in the mix.

- click anywhere in the progess bar to skip around the track playing

- click to move to the next track in the mix

- click to move to the previous track in the mix

- click to add a Mix to your crate in the Mix List view.

- click to add a Mix to your crate in the Mix Profile view.

- before you checkout you will be prompted to choose your preferred format - .mp3 or .wav. Mixes are only available in Hi-Quality mp3 format. The .wav option only applies to DJ Singles. If you have both Mixes and Singles in your crate with the .wav option selected, the Singles will download as .wav and the mixes will download as .mp3.
